About Sandy
My most cherished childhood memories are of the many family
gatherings, parties, holidays, vacations and road trips my family took together. My
mom and my dad, who were always creative, would design beautiful
photo albums of our times together. Every time I turned the page of one of these books a wave of warmth would fill my heart as I relived each moment. This is where my love of photography was born.
The only thing I love as much as photography is
my family. My mom Jean, my dad Terry,
my sister Donna, my husband Trey and my
two wonderful kids Brandon, and Noah. I was born and raised
in Houston, TX. I live in the Cypress
area now with my family, who I adore,
and can't imagine being anywhere else.
We lived in Powel Wyoming for 2 years
where I learned to adore nature and
beautiful landscapes. But Houston is and will always be my home.
My reputation as a photographer is built on my
love of the art, and ability to capture the moments often overlooked; a quick glance or a warm hug. I want my weddings
and my portraits to tell the story of you
the way you want it remembered. I try to connect with my clients and become as involved in the process as they want me to be. This allows me to understand the memories that are most important to them.
My other passion is teaching others how to translate emotions through photography.
People are beautiful, the photo just
proves it. I have had artistic photos featured in such publications as the
Endless Journeys Photography
collection book. And hopefully more
soon.
I specialize in outdoor Photography,
black and whites, and capturing the
special moments in your life.
